AR Identity for La Vie Taiwan Creativity 100

In 2023, we helped create a series of key visuals for Taiwan Creativity 100's annual ceremony, along with the December magazine cover, AR interaction, and trophy design. We aimed to depict the prominent concept of "Tech Singularity" as a modern explosion. This project was exhibited as a static explosion on the magazine cover, dynamic radiation in AR, and, ultimately, as individual trophies in the physical world.

Located in the southern part of Taiwan, the city of Kaohsiung is the island’s largest industrial center. Known as “Taiwan’s Maritime Capital,” the city is in the stage of rapid transformation and constant evolution. Inspired by these characteristics, Local Remote designed a visual expression and system that is constantly adapting to this fast-changing environment where cultural growth and technical revolutions have given design the opportunity to behave like living organisms. Working with TDRI and Kaohsiung City Government, Local Remote focused on the power of design – resulting in a clear and powerful key visual that embodies the futuristic and vivid character of the city of Kaohsiung.

Local Remote came on board to introduce a fresh flavor, Gin Oolong Tea, with packaging that's as sleek and playful as it gets. The design features a leaf pattern and a color gradient, a nod to the blend of Kavalan Gin and Oolong tea.

For a long time, Local Remote has maintained a close collaboration with the emerging fashion brand Choir, centering around the theme of sound and continuously exploring the sweet spot between fashion and art. The CHOIR Pre SS Campaign, titled The Symphony 2022, aims to empower the brand and expand audience awareness by organizing offline gatherings for enthusiasts. Local Remote provides on-site artistic direction to ensure the visual presentation aligns with the brand's values. In the preface written for Choir, we outline the brand's persistence and contours: "This time, Choir invites seven like-minded individuals to join us in orchestrating harmony, accompanying us in finding resonance across different frequencies. It grants the right to a fantastical realm, allowing various voices to weave unique chapters for each soul. Choir vocalizes for ideals, steadfastly treading through ripples in search of resonance. Amidst the echoes of our shouts, we perpetually believe: where there is sound, there will be an echo."

LiLi is an e-commerce brand offering high-quality beauty and daily-use products for the new generation. By advocating a lifestyle of confidence and courage, LiLi aims to elevate consumers' awareness of aesthetics and empower them to realize their self-worth. Starting from the concept of "confidence," Local Remote has crafted a warm and comfortable primary color palette for LiLi, systematically integrating four colors into the brand ecosystem. Collaborating with illustrators, we've created visual elements that align with the brand philosophy, visualizing LiLi's four core values: "Perfectionist, Transparency, Accessibility, and Diversity Inclusion." This ensures that beauty flows authentically within the brand's DNA.

TYB logo Motion Study

Everything in this world changes so should design. Brands change, learn and adapt, so the limitation of consistency are liberated with a balance of consistency and change. This a motion study we did for TYB— a biomedical company. We designed a logo that is constantly adapting to their fast-changing environment where internet, social media and technical revolutions have given brands the opportunity to behave like living organisms.
